How to Get Stains out of Linen Tablecloth?

1. How to get old yellow stains out of a linen tablecloth
a) Borax
Borax, a powdery white mineral, is a whitening laundry booster available in many stores. Add half a cup of Borax to one gallon of water and soak your tablecloth in this solution overnight. Then use a mild detergent to wash them.
b) Vinegar
Mix half a cup of vinegar with one gallon of lukewarm water in a tub or a bucket, immerse your tablecloth in the solution for an hour. After that, machine wash or hand wash is permitted, using a gentle detergent. Air drying is better to eliminate the vinegar smell.
c) Baking Soda
Baking soda is an odor neutralizer carrying natural whitening abilities. Add half a cup of baking soda to your mild laundry detergent will boost the detergent’s cleaning power, and make your tablecloth cleaner.
d) Lemon Juice

e) Bleach Is Not Recommended

a) Dish Soap and White Vinegar
Dissolve half of the teaspoon of dish soap and one full tablespoon of white vinegar into one liter of warm water. Sitting the flax tablecloth into the solution for about half an hour.
